Hearing Resources (199)
At Widex, the primary goal is to support both Hearing Healthcare Professionals and hearing aid wearers as much as possible. As such, we are excited to provide updates to Widex MOMENT™ hearing aids directly through the Widex MOMENT™ app. This process will allow Widex to make enhancements to Widex MOMENT™ hearing aids without the hearing aid wearer visiting the office.

Hearing aids are doing more than ever before. Wearers experience higher levels of hearing aid satisfaction thanks to design, style, and functional upgrades.
The far-reaching implications of improved satisfaction mean you can hear and interact better. And social interaction is key to your health and well-being.
May is Better Hearing and Speech Month with a focus on workplace communication. If you have hearing loss, remote work communications can leave you feeling out of the loop. Don’t struggle on the sidelines. Video conferences and closed captions are available for your work meetings so that you won’t miss out.

Our team is working together to continue to provide you with the quality hearing health care needs you've come to expect from Audio Help Hearing Centers. Watch a welcome message from audiologist Dr. Jessica Woodson:
We want to thank you for your patience and understanding during these extraordinary times. Even when we are forced to be apart, it is moments like these that bring us closer together. So, we decided to do something special for you.
As many of you may or may not know, every time you come into our office, you are helping to support people in the United States and internationally who can’t afford or who have little or no access to hearing healthcare through our partner, Hearing the Call. The organization is a nonprofit group that provides the gift of hearing which means YOU help provide that gift of hearing.
So as a gift to you, on Thursday, May 14th at 9pm (EDT) / 6pm (PDT), Mandy Harvey will perform a Facebook Live mini-concert sponsored by Hearing the Call. Mandy Harvey is the deaf singer who awed Simon Cowell and millions of viewers as a breakout star on America’s Got Talent with her golden buzzer moment.
Communication is essential, especially during times of crisis. Stay informed about the world around you, but also ensure you have a proper communication plan if you become ill. We’ve compiled ideas for a course of action and how to communicate with hearing loss effectively.
Know Your Risk
Hearing loss can take its toll during times of isolation, causing loneliness or depression. It also increases the likelihood of medical communication and treatment errors. Aside from communication troubles, those with hearing loss often have underlying medical conditions that predispose them to COVID-19.
