Dr. Meagan Hydar grew up in Danbury, Connecticut and received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. She then received her Doctorate in Audiology from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon. Over the course of her studies, she has gained clinical experience in many diverse settings, including hospital and private practice.

Dr. Hydar first joined the Audio Help Hearing Centers team as a third year intern and loved Audio Help so much she completed her final year of residency with the company as well. As somebody who suffers from hearing loss herself, Dr. Hydar is compassionate and empathetic with all of her patients. She strongly believes in educating her patients, building long term relationships with her patients, understanding their lifestyles, and finding the technology or assistive listening device that will most improve their quality of life. Dr. Hydar holds certification through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed in the State of New York and Connecticut as a clinical and dispensing audiologist.
