Ms. Maria Ortiz is originally from Miami, Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and later attended graduate school at Northeastern University in Boston. Ms. Ortiz has worked as a clinician for prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Perkins School for the Deaf and Blind. She gained extensive experience with hearing aids while working with veterans at the VA Hospital in Boston.  Upon moving to New York, Ms. Maria Ortiz gained further clinical experience at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital and also as a sales representative for international manufacturer Siemens Hearing Instruments.
