Audiologist Dr. Anisha Parekh

Dr. Anisha Parekh is a graduate of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in India where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. In 2002, Dr. Parekh joined Magic Ear hearing aid dispensing clinic in Bandra, Mumbai, India where she had an opportunity to work with Dr. Paston Jamaz – pioneer of hearing aid industry in India. Dr. Parekh then continued on to Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania to pursue her clinical Doctorate in Audiology. (Au.D.).

Her experience comprises of complete audiological evaluations of newborns, children and adults, vestibular and neurological testing and amplification evaluation and rehabilitation. Along with her strong diagnostic audiological experience Dr. Anisha Parekh also has an extensive training in intraoperative monitoring. She completed her intraoperative monitoring training at Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Dr. Parekh is a New York State licensed audiologist and an active member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Parekh regularly attends continuing education seminars and lectures to maintain her expertise in the latest advancements in hearing aid technology.
